RAES East serves Knox County students. We serve students up to 16 years old who for a variety of reasons need an alternative educational setting to be successful academically. We use a combination of online coursework through Edgenuity and teacher led instruction to meet the varied learning styles of our students.
RAES West serves four school districts: Monmouth/Roseville, Mercer County, United and West Central. We serve students from 6th through 12th grade. RAES offers a variety of academic programs: Day school for those students wanting a high school diploma, night school for GED classes and diploma, and ESL for English language learners. RAES staff recognizes the diversity of the needs of our students and strives to meet those needs. The average enrollment for the RAES West programs is 125 students
"RAES West had a great day on May 23rd as a group of 15 students were eligible to go to Fun City as a part of their Incentive Program. They were allowed to bowl, ride the Go-Karts, play lazer tag, and use the arcade. Students must maintain good behavior, academic productivity, and high attendance to be eligible for these trips. It's safe to say that everyone had a good time. Terri, Mary, and Carey had a VERY good time as well!"
CONGRATULATIONS 2018 GRADUATES!
Raes East made a day of it and took a field trip to Elevate Trampoline Park!
Melinda Rhodes from the Galesburg Public Library came to RAES East to do a presentation on the services they provide, teen programs they offer, how to find books on the Chromebook and excellent books to read. Melinda also donated 30 awesome young adult novels to Mr. McDonald's classroom. Thank you so much Melinda Rhodes and the Galesburg Public Library for sharing such great information with our students.
Students attending RAES West now have the opportunity to enjoy the Warren County YMCA for their PE class.
